Built in 1942 for the USN, Bu 09837. Post war to the Paraguayan Air Force. Sold to the USA in 1991, becoming N3172N. Came to Australia in 1994 as a restoration project. Registration VH-ZRO(1) reserved but ntu. Registered appropriately VH-NAG on 6 February 2002. Unusually, restored as SNJ-4C with tailhook and R-1340-AN-1 with 3-blade prop.
