Parked at the apron's edge between flights, this 727 had been with United Airlines since December 1966. When retired, the aircraft was delivered to Federal Express and converted to a freighter as N192FE in April 1990. It was leased to Brooker Wheaton Aviation (C-FBWY) in January 1991 to operate for Federal Express in Canada. Re-named Morningstar Express in January 1992, the airline returned the freighter to Federal Express in March 2004 reverting to N192FE. Finally retired from flying in 2007, it's used as a ground trainer in Denver, CO. This photo is copyright © Gary Vincent, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
