Photographer not known. Starting life in 1943 as FL522 of the RAF, this Dakota was soon transferred to the SAAF as 6810. From 1950 onwards, G-AMFV served with such carriers as BEA, Cambrian, Gibair and Fairflight before finishing up with Kestrel Aviation. It was withdrawn from use at Lympne in June 1973 as a source of spares for Skyways Cargo. This photo was added on 1 September 2022, and has since been viewed 411 times. |
