D-CEVW was operated in the US by Vorelco / Volkswagen of America from 1970 till 1978; thereafter it was operated as N111VW by the same company. Last known registration was N562MS, it was noted as such at Columbus OH, probably already wfu, and the registration was cancelled in 2011.
