D-CEVW was operated in the US by Vorelco / Volkswagen of America from 1970 till 1978; thereafter it was operated as N111VW by the same company. Last known registration was N562MS, it was noted as such at Columbus OH, probably already wfu, and the registration was cancelled in 2011.

K Hovnanian is a home building company. Registered as N4760N in 1969 then to D-CEVW in 1970, N111VW in 1978, N45RS then N86Y in 1979, N60RS in 1980, N129KH in 1986, HC-BQU in 1991 and N562MS in 1997. Withdrawn from use in 2006 and later scrapped at Spirit of St.Louis, MO.
