DC-8-63PF ("Provisional Freighter") Delivered new to Eastern Airlines as N8758 November 6th 1969. Bought by SAS as OY-KTG "Torodd Viking" March 19th 1973. 1982 and 1983 short leases to Icelandair. April 1984 repainted to the new SAS colours as seen on this photo. January 1988 transferred to Scanair.. December 1988 N790AL Challenge Air Cargo. January 1991 N816AX ABX Air opf Airborne Express, later opf DHL in DHL colours. Ca 2014 wfu after amazing 45 years of flying. Shot from B-pier window ass it is made ready as SK771 for Tel Aviv, one of the most wonderful flights I ever had.
