World War II veteran 43-47218 began civilian life in 1959 flying freight with Riddle Airlines as N5134B. The big freighter moved to Airlift International, Zantop Air Transport and Universal Airlines in the 60's until withdrawn in 1968. Rich International bought the aircraft in 1973 and rebuilt it using parts from N74172 cn 22487 and was re-registered. It is now with the Yanks Air Museum in Chino, CA.
