This aircraft was a ramjet, first launched from a Languedoc transport aircraft in powered flight on 21st April 1949. It demonstrated a phenomenal rate of climb and was tested until 1953. There appears to be no forward vision and they must have been incredibly difficult to land. The Leduc 016 was developed with wingtip mounted engines but it was unstable and tests were quickly discontinued. In total three of these types were built with two being destroyed in non-fatal accidents

Seen in the Musée de l'Air, this aircraft type first flew in 1913 and entered service in August 1914. It served as a reconnaissance and artillery ranging aircraft throughout the whole of the First World War. It was a very stable platform and forgiving of pilot errors.

Seen in the Musée de l'Air, this aircraft type first flew in 1913 and entered service in August 1914. It served as a reconnaissance and artillery ranging aircraft throughout the whole of the First World War. It was a very stable platform and forgiving of pilot errors.

Seen in the Musee de l'Air et de l'Espace, the Griffon was a response to a 1953 requirement for a light supersonic interceptor. The prototype first flew in September 1955 and this, the second aircraft flew in January 1957. In October 1959 it attained a speed of Mach 2.19, 2,300km/h at 15,000 metres. The pathetic on-camera flash provided just enough light to illuminate the engine intake

Came to France for a planned Guppy conversion by UTA. Did not occur and it was loaned to the Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace. Acquired by a museum at Nancy-Essey and flown out of Paris. After the museum closed, N49548 was scrapped in 2005. Its tail however found its way to a park in Czechia.

I'm not an expert on military aircraft. What I do know is that this is officially 216 and was painted up as 334 only because the former curator and director of the Musée de l'Air, General Lissarague, flew serial 334 in Indochina.
