Sold initially to Miami Aviation Corporation, Opa Locka, FL, and then to Herbert R. Anderson Jnr., Cleveland Heights, OH as N5HA.

In 1962, SFERMA (Société Française d'Entretien et de Réparation de Matériel Aéronautique) modified a Model 95 Travel Air by equipping it with the swept tail of the Model 55 Baron and replacing the piston engines with two 440hp Astazou II turboprops Seventeen Model 55 Baron airframes were also re-engined, including three for Beechcraft, and an eighteenth was not completed. The second prototype, F-BJSI, was re-engined with more powerful Astazou XII engines and set several World Air Speed Records in its class during the early 1960s.

Delivered new to Braniff Intl. on 18 August 1965. Later used by Allegheny Airlines, US Air, Florida Express, and the second Braniff. Scrapped at Hondo, Texas in the early 1990s.

Later registered as N20PT. On 18 March 1994 this a/c was lost at Winchester, PA. The right engine quit due to fuel starvation on approach, and the pilot lost control. The pilot was fatally injured. There were no others aboard the a/c.

Delivered new to American Airlines in July 1937 as N17338 "Flagship Philadelphia." Operated by American through March 1949, then was operated by Mid Continent Airlines, Braniff Airways, and finally Southern Airways.

Built as C-54E USAAF 44-9113. Converted to VC-54E, and in 1951 to MC-54M medical evacuation configuration.. Shown on the Gary Aircraft Corporation ramp in Victoria, TX. undergoing overhaul. This a/c was retired from USAF service in 1973.
