Originally a B2, used by A&AEE Boscombe Down for ejector seat trials until it was replaced by WH876. Converted as a U14 drone for the Royal Navy by Shorts in 1960, and operated by 728B NAS for around a year from Hal Far, Malta (coded 593) then stored at Pershore from December 1961. Delivered to Predannack's Royal Navy Fire School on 15 January 1978, it had expired by 1984.
