This vanilla kit-built Jabiru is a two-seater using the four-seater fuselage.

This is the former VH-SPJ, which can be still seen faintly on the fin. This illustrates the ability for this class of aircraft to transfer between the Australian Register and the ultralight Register maintained by RAAus.

This rarely-seen Texan was built for the USAAF but delivered to the USN as SNJ-5 Bu 84825 (X-A-N - get it?). It later went to the Spanish Ejercito del Aire as C.6-163, code 421-56. In 1992 it was registered in the USA as N29944 but crashed on take-off at Houston on 19 Sept of that year. It came to Australia for rebuild and was first registered on 12 Feb 1991. This aircraft was built as a C-47A-1-DK with USAAF serial 42-92274 but was delivered to the RAAF as A65-29. Post-war it became VH-TAE with TAA, before going to their New Guinea 'Sunbird' services as VH-SBL. It went to Air Niugini in 1973 and became P2-SBL the following year (later P2-ANR). In 1992 it returned to the Australian Register as VH-SBL. To Dakota National Air in 1992, company renamed Discovery Air Tours in 2003 and aircraft seen here advertising their website.
