This privately-owned Bell 230 was photographed while refuelled at Corona airport. After Bell 222 production ended in Texas, the program was moved to Canada and the Model 230 born by replaced the original Lycoming LTS101-650C-3 engines with Rolls Royce (Allison) 250-C30G/2s. This aircraft was first flown as C-GLZA at Mirabel, Quebec in 1994, then exported to the USA as N230JP. As N4UV, it flew as an air ambulance with Mansfield Heliflight in Vermont and the University of Virginia Health System. Exported to Australia, it flew with RACQ CareFlight in Queensland as VH-XCW before imported as N230H.

Delivered new from Sikorsky to the French Armee de l'Air in 1956, this S-58 was purchased surplus by Sikorsky in the early 1970s and converted to a Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6T twin turbine S-58ET registered N1144U. It flew with Heli-Swiss between April 1972 and July 1983 (including on lease to Heli Union and Heliservice). It was imported to the US by Air Associates as N39790 and sold to Aris Helicopter's as N58AH still wearing the Heli-Swiss colour scheme in July 1984. It was registered to B&B Helos Llc in April 2009, but operates as Aris Helicopters, a Division of Heli Flite, Inc.

In its more than 30 years long career this bird is wearing it's fith colour scheme!

This museum has some interesting aeroplanes, this is the only helicopter, as well as a huge collection of classic cars and historic vehicles.

This Pirat was originally registered DM-1857 in 1973 and then DDR-1857, before becoming D-1867 after German reunification and cancellation from the register in September 1991. The Pirat now hangs from the roof of one of the halls at this interesting museum.

Preserved inside Hall 3 of this vehicle museum. I am not interested in old cars, but if they are your thing then this museum should be on the bucket list. The museum has some interesting aeroplanes, but it has a superb collection of historic cars.
