Initially delivered to British Airways in 1975 as G-BBAI. The aircraft moved to British Airtours in 1984 and Caledonian Airways in 1988 for charter operations. The aircraft is pictured on one of two winter leases to Canadian charter operator Worldways Canada (December to May of 1988 and 89). The aircraft suffered a hard landing on May 5, 1999 at Rhodes - Diagoras, Greece. The damage was enough for the insurance company to write the aircraft off and it was stored at Abu Dhabi in November 1999 and broken up.

World Airways took delivery of this 727 as N695WA on September 14, 1967. In addition to their own charters, the aircraft was frequently leased out or operated for other carriers. It flew for United Airlines October 1967 - June 1988, Ariana Afghan Airlines February - July 1969, Japan Air Lines August 1970 -March 1971 and Japan Air Mali from July 1971. Air Mali bought the aircraft and re-registered it TZ-ADR in July 1974. Sold to Federal Express as N199FE in July 1988, it was retired in October 1985 and donated to the Kansas Aviation Museum at Wichita McConnell Airport .

In November 1978, Kenn Borek Air bought this former Business Flight Service and Baron Air (SE-GRB) Beech 99. Frequently leased out to or operated for other carriers, it's pictured flying for Canadian Regional Airlines. Kenn Borek sold the aircraft in December 2012 at it eventually ended up with Air Turks & Caicos / InterCaribbean Airways as VH-TQL from January 2013.
