This is one of the outside exhibits belonging to the Canadian Warbird Heritage Museum. The DHC-5 was ST-AHP of the Sudanese AF but has been restored in this UN scheme to commemorate the Canadian crew of the real CAF Buffalo '115461' that were killed when the plane was shot down over Syria on 9th Aug. 1974.

This 1956 Mk. 6 flew with the RCAF in Europe for six years and then with the 'Golden Hawks' for the 1963 airshow season, prior to being acquired by The National Museum of Science and Technology in Ottawa in 1964. It is now on display at the Canadian Warbird Heritage Museum but is actually on extended loan from the Canada Aviation and Space Museum in Ottawa.

This 1946 D18S started off carrying passengers and freight between Florida and Maine. Then International Nickel (INCO) operated it for nearly 25 years hauling men and equipment to prospecting sites and mines in Canada and Central America. The aircraft has been restored by the CWHM in the colours and markings of a detached photographic section of the RCAF, circa 1944, which was stationed in Winnipeg.

This CF-104 is in fact 104790 and served with 439 Sqn, 1 Canadian Air Group, RCAF at Sollingen AB, Germany. It is now on display as 104756 at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in it's 1976 NATO Tiger Meet scheme.

The CWHM's Firefly was built in 1951 and first served with the RNVR at Ford, UK. Subsequently it served with the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) between 1953 until retirement in 1960 and preservation in a NSW museum. Although a Mk.VI, it has been restored in the colours and markings of a RCN 825 Squadron Firefly Mk. V operating from HMCS Magnificent between 1949-50.

The CWHM Canuck was built in 1958 as a Mk.5 all weather interceptor but later converted into a Mk. 5D ECM aircraft and used to simulate enemy aircraft during NORAD exercises. The aircraft is fitted with wingtip fuel tanks instead of rocket pods to extend its range for it's ECM missions. It served in an electronic warfare role with No. 414 'Black Knight' Sqdn in North Bay, ON until Dec. 1981.

The Bolingbroke was intended as an improved version of the Blenheim but immediately pre-WWII the British were in urgent need of actual plane numbers on the ground rather than down-the-line projects. Development was handed over to the Canadians and the end result was 626 Bolingbrokes produced between 1939 and 1943. The CWHM's trainer Bolingbroke is currently being rebuilt to flying condition from the remains of eight aircraft, salvaged from Manitoba, during the mid 1980s.

This Canadian-built Anson V flew with Austin from 1957 to 1974. Ex RCAF 11904.

Originally Air Force 45-11582, this Mustang had several different markings over the years.

The Hamilton Flying Club's 1961 Champion going back in the hangar. The aircraft is still current on the Canadian register as C-FNRZ although it's another one of these tri-gear classics that has undergone a tail wheel conversion.

This P-40 was damaged during the filming of the movie Tora Tora Tora (1969). It was rebuilt and painted in RAF colors, taking to the air again in 1973.
