My home for the day! The disused Control Tower at Point Cook is only activated these days every second year for the RAAF Museum's Air Pageant. At the foot of the Tower a Roulette spare aircraft, A23-059 is parked out of the way.

GFS has used this 1982-model King Air since 27 April 2007 for the turbine twin segment of its airline pilot training courses. Formerly NSW-based, it was first registered in Australia on 8 December 1987. Before that it was N6236U, N8FF & N5FW. This aircraft seems to have replaced King Air C90 VH-LYG which came a gutser at Moorabbin when the nose gear wouldn't come down in August 2006.
