Taken en-route over France on the way to an air show at Roanne. Before the Battle of Britain flight got the Lancaster and Dakota a Devon of 207 Squadron often provided the ground crew transport. On this occasion my late father Barry Taylor was the pilot and borrowed my camera to take these pictures. LF363 first flew on 01 Jan 1944 and was the last Hurricane to enter service with the RAF. Operated by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight she is painted in the markings of 242 Squadron in 1940 when led by Douglas Bader.

Built by CCF as a Mark 1B AE977. Transferred to FAA in 07.42 and converted to Sea Hurricane., Crashed in 12.42. Remains recovered postwar and first flew 06.00 as G-TWTD. To NX33TF and here displayed airworthy at Chino. Returned to UK in 02.13 as G-CHTK.
