Condensation trails follow this ex CPA, Canadian Airlines, Air Canada a/c as it settles in for landing on 26R

One of Zip Air's pastel 737s seconded from Air Canada. This one was there from the beginning to the end of the low cost carrier's short 2 year operation. (September 2002 - September 2004). Pictured over the Strait of Georgia, just southwest of Vancouver airport, the aircraft would go to Canadian North in September 2004.

Delivered to CP Air March 22, 1983, like much of CP Air's fleet, moved to Canadian Airlines and Air Canada with mergers. Transferred to Zip Air in November 2003, it was retired when Zip ceased operations in September 2004. Sold to Chanchangi Airlines as 5N-BEW in December 2004 and flown until that airline shut down in 2007.

End of the line .... well at least in Canada. Behind the hangar after the shut down of Zip, the aircraft went to Mojave, CA for storage shortly after the picture was taken. Picked up by Pegasus Aviation, it would fly again under lease with Batavia Air (PK-YTN).

After delivery to CP Air July 3, 1979, C-GCPO carried on through mergers to Canadian Airlines, Air Canada and finally in the original group of 737s transferred to Zip Air in September 2002. Withdrawn as Zip was absorbed back into Air Canada in September 2004, the aircraft was returned to Polaris Leasing, who owned it by this time and stored at Mojave, CA in October. Finally leased to Aero Condor Peru from November 2006 to February 2009 then returning to storage.

When photographed, this 737 was nearing the end of it's time in Canada. Delivered to CP Air October 1, 1982, it would wear Canadian Airlines, Air Canada, Tango and Zip colors through mergers. It was stored at Mojave, CA in October 2004 after Zip was wound up by Air Canada in September. The aircraft was re-activated and sold to Venezolana Airlines as YV287T in February 2007.

Transferred from Air Canada's fleet for the last year of Zip Air's operation, this 737 subsequently was sold to Canadian North.
