Rarely seen in these marks, this Fairchild is sometimes confused with TP-0205 / XC-UTD (c/n 90) of the FAM also photographed on this trip. Msn 25 began life way back in 12.58 as YV-C-EVP with Avensa. Ozark flew her in the mid-60s as N4305F and after a series of financial/corporate ownerships she landed up with the Armada de Mexico from 7.76. Thought to have been w/o at MEX 4.88

Having for many years believed that this C-47 was MT-201 (for which the c/n is unknown), it is now clear from a photo in the 2021 book "DC-3/C-47 in Latin American Military Service" that it is actually MT-202 which has a known identity. It was broken up eight months later.

Originally thought to have been ex RCAF 9307 and to Mexico 8.3.74 (one of four CSR-110s supplied by Canada), but some doubt has now been cast on this aircraft's identity. Canadian Albatrosses had more powerful Wright R-1820-82 engines with an air scoop on top of the nacelle; this aircraft may in fact be one from two later batches of ex USN HU-16s, eight ex-DM in 1976 and four in 1978. Re-serialling later occurred and like many Mexican i/d's, this one is very difficult to verify
