The identity and history of this Canadian AF Bolingbroke are currently unknown, except that it was one of the three Bolingbrokes brought to Melun-Villaroche in France for restoration. The nose of this one was no longer needed at Melun-Villaroche and it then went to the Musée du Terrain d'Aviation de Condé-Vraux 1939-1945 in Vraux. It should be 10040 or 10184. Inside it the museum placed the seat of RAF Blenheim Mk4 L8738 that was found in the area after it went missing on 14-May-1940 while in action at the Sedan bridges.

After being withdrawn, it was sold as N92BF in August 1991 then appropriately re-registered as N12907. On 26 September 2000 it was DBR in a gear collapse at Charlotte/NC and relocated to the Carolinas Aviation Museum, conveniently on site. In 2019 the museum had to close so current status in 2020 uncertain.

These two Bristol Bolingbrooke bomber/gunnery trainers had somehow survived for 27 years since World War 2 ended. The near one (10038) was restored as a Blenheim Mk.IV bomber in the UK, a feat which took many years of painstaking work, only to have the effort wasted by a pilot who crashed it almost immediately.

The CF-100 Canuck was an all-weather interceptor used by the RCAF during the cold war and later in the electronic warfare role. They were all withdrawn from service in 1980. This one started out as a Mk 4B but was eventually upgraded to Mk 5D. Now it is on display at the Alberta Aviation Museum in Edmonton at the now closed Edmonton Municipal Airport.

Gatwick was a major European hub for the Canadian Armed Forces. Douglas Dakotas and Bristol Freighters ferried personnel from and to France and Germany while the Hercules and Yukon were used across the Atlantic. Delivered to the RCAF in 1961, this one went to Zaire in 1974 and scrapped there in 1983.

A bit of mystery is this ex-RAF Dakota acquired by the RCAF after WW-II. It was based in Europe 1955-70 then retired to the No. 1005 Technical Storage Detachment at Saskatoon in 1971. Registered as CF-BKR in January 1972, but by December it was off the CCAR with no foreign registration or accident data found. Hard to believe this cream-puff didn't have a post-military career, but it seems to have been scrapped at Saskatoon.
