166867 was delivered to the US Navy in late 2008/early 2009 and flew since with VFA-122 (NJ-401 and NJ-207) before it was transferred to NSAWC (later became this center the NAWDC). From late 2010 to late 2018, the Super Hornet flew with the center. Was then transferred to VFA-81 (AB-400) in 2020 before arriving with VFA-37 in early 2023.

This old F-16A, former USAF serial 92-0409 is also former AMARC with inventory code FG0039. It arrived there as a brand-new aircraft on 20 December 1993 after the USA embargoed its delivery to Pakistan (planned as serial 93-740). It was stored for some years, and then transferred to the US Navy as an adversary aircraft. It left storage on 30 April 2003 and was assigned to the Naval Strike Air Warfare Center (NSAWC) at NAS Fallon (NV). The picture was made while the center was just redesignated into Naval Air Warfighting Development Center (NAWDC). This Viper still carries the old designation.

This is a F/A-18F Block 54 of the LOw Rate Initial Production 3, ordered in FY99. It was delivered to the US Navy in Jul'01 and started to serve VX-9 (with modex 511). In mid-2003, the Rhino was transferred to VFA-102 (modex 104) and then in Jan'04 to VFA-122 (NJ-132). in early 2005, transferred to VFA-211 (AB-211), then in mid-2008 to VFA-122 (AB-111). in Mar'09 it started to serve the NSAWC (12), received modex 104 by Feb'11. The NSAWC became NAWDC and the Hornet kept the same modex. Then in mid-2023 the F/A-18F was selected for the Blue Angels, and was repainted in the blue demo colours.

Some parts are clearly missing, including the engine. It was seen up to fall 2019, fate?

Low level arrival of a three-tone brown F-16A of the Naval Strike Air Warfare Center. The F-16A is former USAF serial 92-0408 and als former AMARC FG0037. It arrived at the storage depot on 29 September 1993 as a brand-new F-16, following the embargo of the USA against Pakistan. It was intented to become 93-739 within the Pakistan Air Force. It was moved from AMARC on 21 February 2003 and became an adversary aircraft with Strike. It was withdrawn from service with the successor of the NSAWC, the Naval Air Warfighting Development Center in 2018. Fate ?

A line of (temporary) stored Hornets, Super Hornets and a sole Fighting Falcon. The desert camo Hornet is 162840, a Lot 17 one ordered in FY84. It started as a fleet F/A-18A and served squadrons like VFA-132, VFA-25, Fleet Replacement Squadron (FRS) VFA-125 and then arrived with the Naval Strike Air Warfare Center, that later became the Naval Air Warfighting Development Center. Here the NSAWC Hornet is seen in sorry state, missing parts and ejection seat. It was last reported in early 2018, fate ?

This F/A-18E was after delivery assigned to VX-9 as XE-131, at least up to mid-2010. Then it was transferred to the Naval Air Warfighting Development Centre (pronounced at NAW-DIK). In June 2015 the NAWDC was redesignated into the Naval Air Warfare Center (pronounced as EN-SOCK) and the Rhino was likewise transfereed. The F/A-18E was transferred to the fleet in 2022, and got assigned to VFA-137 (AJ-110).

Rarely seen, a near clean Growler. This EA-18G Lot 37 was ordered in FY13 and delivered to the US Navy on 29 January 2015. It was assigned to the Naval Air Warfighting Development Centre (pronounced at NAW-DIK) up to late 2019, early 2020. In June 2015 the NAWDC was redesignated into the Naval Air Warfare Center (pronounced as EN-SOCK). The Growler was transferred to VAQ-132 (NL-531) in early 2020 and later to VAQ-138 (NL-515) in late 2021. It later became AF-504 with VAQ-209 and as such at least up to late 2024.
