This aircraft, commonly known as the "Flying W" was built in 1938. They worked on floats, skis and wheels in the Canadian North. It is now registered in the US as N2191K and is located in Oregon and is the only example still flying. Photo taken by John Caswell

Delivered in November 1974, it later became C6-BEK, N131AW,C-GVRD.YU-ANZ, HR-SHI,VT-EWA,OB-1544 and OB-1544F. It was destroyed following a wheels-up landing at Lima, Peru on 13th December, 2003

Delivered new to Northwest Airlines as N373US in March 1967. To Transair in October 1974 serving until February 1977, named "Fort Garry".

This YS-11 was delivered new to Transair August 1968, along with it's sister ship (CF-TAM). After the merger with Pacific Western Airlines, the turbo-props were deemed surplus and sold in October 1979 to Pinehurst Airlines.

The "Fort Rouge" was previously EI-ASH with Aer Lingus.

Soon to be history in Toronto when photographed. Transair's Ontario routes were transferred to Nordair in the following months and the airline merged into Pacific Western by the end of the year.

Delivered new to Transair in August 1968. The airline was merged into Pacific Western in October 1979 and the aircraft was sold as N9952M in February 1980.

Coming to Transair April 1973 via Fairchild Hiller (N286FH), this F-28 was sold in 1979 as they merged with Pacific Western Airlines. Going to Air Niugini as P2-ANF, it's last flight was February 9, 2004. Donated to Aviation Australia, the airliner was ferried to Brisbane to become VH-XNG for use as an apprentice trainer. This is a different aircraft than C-FTAY that was operated by Canadian Regional and Canadian North (c/n 11084).

Delivered new to Transaiur in April 1970 and named "Fort William". The aircraft is fitted with nosewheel protection gear for landings on gravel runways. To Pacific Western on merger in November 1979.
