To support the struggling Fokker company, the Dutch government ordered the Fokker 60, a stretched F.50, as a tactical transport aircraft for its air force. Only four F.60s were built and the RNLAF would have been much better off with a couple of extra C-130s instead. The Fokkers were disposed of to Peru in 2010.

First flown in 1935, the FK.51 intermediate trainer was numerically the most succesful aircraft of the Koolhoven firm. Over 100 FK.51s were built for the Dutch forces, including some as artillery spotters, but they were not used operationally in the 1940 May war. Another batch was sold to Republican Spain.

The service period of the C-47 with the Koninklijke Luchtmacht or Royal (Netherlands) Air Force was relatively short, the indigenous Fokker F.27 starting to replace it in 1960. A couple of C-47s served in Dutch New Guinea until late 1962. This is actually a Danish machine, ex K-688.

The Dutch air force used eight wheeled Alouette IIs for SAR duties in the early 1960s. This airframe actually belonged to the Belgian army as A29. The real H-4 was sent to Dutch New Guinea (now Indonesian Papua) with a Hunter squadron in 1961.
