Buyers came forward to purchase the company and in May 2022, Surack Enterprises successfully acquired Enstrom with the intention to restart parts manufacture to service current owners and set up new production and development. The first new production helicopter flew in January 2023. This 280FX arrived by road from the plant in Menominee for display at AirVenture 2024.
