Moored at its Red Lake base while operating for its owner Viking Outpost Cabins Ltd, with whom it served from 1993 until 2010.

Built for the USAF as 44-70273 then civilianized as NC59786 post-1945. Imported for a G.H.Green as CF-JDG in 1956 (was it the first in the fleet?). Cancelled in August 1986 on export as N538DW and wrecked at Bronson Creek/BC on 4 June 1987 when a wheel came off on landing. A subsequent attack from a grizzly bear finished it off. The remains were donated to the B.C. Aviation Museum for use in the rebuild of CF-DRE. (Photo taken while standing on the Chimo Air dock.)

Sea-Air-Pac Ltd. (logo and titles on rear fuselage) was founded in the early 1970s to transport fresh seafood (e.g. herring roe) from fishing boats on the BC coast to Tofino and on to customers in Japan. Norseman IV CF-PAA was joined by Norseman VI, CF-SAP, from Washington State but the business soon failed. CF-SAP was flown to Fort Langley Airport where it sat derelict for many years in the 1970s & 1980s. Later to Nunasi-Central Airlines, Nueltin Lake Air Service, Lynn Lake Lodge & Kississing Lake Lodge. Cancelled in May 2014. Built in 1943 for USAAF as 43-5240 then to N74681. Had four US owners before return to Canada.

Saskatchewan Air Ambulance Service (SAAS)

LN-BFU is seen in its natural environment on a lake in Finnmark during the summer of 1964. The Norseman was written off later in the summer when it suffered a crash landing at Alta 18 August 1964.

This Norseman was delivered new to Canadian Forest Products in 1950 and was operated latterly by Huron Air & Outfitters, often on floats, till sold to CWH in 2014.

Purchased by Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey in 1949 for Antarctic operations. Shipped to Falklands in 1950 and thence operated by Falkland Islands Government Air Service until 1953. Airframe was used for naval target practice. The engine lay on the beach not far from the Beaver hangar. Now moved to the museum, I believe. The floats were sold to Saunders Island on West Falklands and used to make a barge.

Moored at the Green Airways Dock on Howey Bay, Red Lake. Owned by the Green family of the former Green Airways, and registered to Jack Green's Trout Lake Lodge Limited.

Docked at Chimo Air Service's base at Howey Bay on Red Lake. In the background to the right is yellow and red Norseman CF-DRD mounted on a plinth in the middle of the town of Red Lake, which styles itself "The Norseman Capital of the World" and hosts an annual fly-in Norseman Festival. CF-JIN had , just a few days previously, suffered damage at its moorings in a particularly heavy hailstorm which had passed through the area.

Seen at its Howey Bay base, the Chimo Air Service docks in the centre of Red Lake. Three Norsemen can be seen in this shot. In addition to CF-KAO, on the right is the tail of CF-JIN, also of Chimo Air Service. Above it is a glimpse of the yellow and red CF-DRD, which is displayed on a pole in support of the town of Red Lake, which is the self-styled " Norseman Capital of the World" and the host of annual Norseman Festivals for around 30 years now.
