First delivered to Türk Hava Yollari as TC-KOZ in 1961. Sold to Kilo-Moto Mining in 1974/1975 as 9Q-CKH and named "Mont Tsi", after one of the gold mines in the Kilo-Moto region. Flown from Kinshasa, Zaïre to Ypenburg, Netherlands in Dec 1975 for major overhaul at Fokker. Was ready for redelivery to Zaïre in Jan 1977, but instead it was flown to Wevelgem, Belgium in 1977 or early 1978, for storage. Sold as N855TA in Jan 1981, but still at Wevelgem as 9Q-CKH in Kilo-Moto colours by Mar 1981. Registration N855TA applied and Kilo-Moto titles removed by Nov 1981, and flown to the USA by May 1982. The next month it was exported to Mexico as XA-MOW, where it was eventually broken up in 2011/2012.

N5097A was sold in Colombia in 1971 as HK-1139

F-27s built by Fairchild were rare in Europe, this one was approaching Rwy 28R at Heathrow

Broken-up at Miami in 1982.

Delivered new to Ozark Air Lines as N4301F in August 1959. Sold in October 1967. Served International Aviation from December 1977 until sale as XA-MIL in July 1982.

Rarely seen in these marks, this Fairchild is sometimes confused with TP-0205 / XC-UTD (c/n 90) of the FAM also photographed on this trip. Msn 25 began life way back in 12.58 as YV-C-EVP with Avensa. Ozark flew her in the mid-60s as N4305F and after a series of financial/corporate ownerships she landed up with the Armada de Mexico from 7.76. Thought to have been w/o at MEX 4.88

This well-known Marana inmate began life with Aloha as N5095A back in 5.59 and became CF-QBE with Quebecair in 12.67. TAC leased her from 12.70; to LN-BSD 11.83 and later OY-MUF with Muk then Newair; broken up at Billund 2002

Only the second Fairchild F-27 to be built, first flying in 5.58, briefly having an airline career with Trans Mar de Cortes in Mexico and Ozark, but after 1962 was owned by a series of small companies. Broken up at MIA in 1984

Built in 1959 and operated as an executive aircraft when owned by the Youngstown Cartage Co from January 1974 until sale in January 1976.
