Taxying in after a practice flight. Built to USAAF order as 42-104687 but diverted to the RNZAF as Kittyhawk Mk IV NZ3215. Sold for scrap post-War and remained Asplin's Supplies, Rukuhia NZ, 1952-60. Rescued and hulk eventually purchased by Allan Arthur and exported to Australia. Restoration work at Wangaratta and Deniliquin. Restoration completed at Ardmore, NZ, 2004-6. Registered ZK-ZOC 6 April 06 (ff 11 April). Shipped to Australia Aug 06 and registered VH-ZOC 21 September 2006.

Mike Spaulding's brand new Warhawk/Kittyhawk was a star attraction at the Wide Bay International Airshow. Built for the USAAF as 42-104977, this aircraft served with the 49FG, named 'Punkins'. On 13 September 1943 it was shot down by a Zero at Tsili Tsili, near Finschafen, New Guinea. The wreck was recovered in 2004 and rebuilt at Wangaratta and Mareeba.

This P-40 served with the US Fifth Air Force in the Pacific theatre and was abandoned at Tadji, New Guinea. It was recovered to the RAAF Museum in the 1970s. Restored to flying condition in Australia, it was sold to the Amicale Jean-Baptiste Salis in 2008.

P-40N 42-105120 recently completed a 9 year restoration project. The aircraft served in The Aleutians before crashing and killing its pilot two weeks before the end of WWII. The wreck was recovered 50 years later.

P-40N built for USAAF as 42-105192 but diverted to Canada as 858. Returned to USA as N1197N at the Air Museum at Ontario. Later N85104 at Planes of Fame.
