This was the 600th ERJ to be delivered, in May 2002. The last of 25 ERJ-145s ordered by Corsair, it already wore the new Swiss liverey following the collapse of Swissair. The type only lasted until 2006 with Swiss and this was a rare sight at AMS I believe. This airframe became XA-TLI and G-CIYX.

First flown in 1929, the Fizir FN was a successful Yugoslav training aircraft of which about 200 examples were built. During WWII production at the Zmaj factory in Axis-controlled Zemun, near Belgrade, continued for the Croatian air force. Some ten undelivered aircraft, including this one, were captured by Tito's forces in 1944. 9009 was used by the Yugoslav air force until 1947 and then by the national aero club as YU-CAY until around 1960. Prewar Yugoslav markings are carried.

A Spitfire in Czech markings? Yes, Britain supplied 54 Spitfires to Czechoslovakia in 1945, including this aircraft. Following the 1948 communist takeover, SL633 went to Israel and on to Burma in 1954! Restored to airworthy condition in the USA, this must be the most cosmopolitan Spitfire around.

The Nie 27 was almost identical to the Nie 24. This replica was built in 1980 and has a steel tube rather than the authentic wooden fuselage, and a 165-hp Gnome engine. It carries the markings of No 1 Sqn, Royal Flying Corps, which continued to fly Nie 17s and Nie 27s until January 1918.

This is assumed to be the '1970 Canadair CF-5A' listed at the Stonehenge Air Museum website. According to information given there it was taken on stength in April 1970, served with No 433 and No 334 Sqn and was struck off charge in 1988, but this is not enough to identify the airframe.

Due to the Korean War, USAF serials ran into five digits for the 1951 and 1952 fiscal years. Plenty of Twin Beech aircraft had been built during WWII, of course, and the 900 C-45Gs and C-45Hs were in fact remanufactured machines. This one used to be 42-37534, an AT-11. Later sold on civilian market as N87688.
