Made 138 flights (829.4 hours) as an offensive and defensive systems testbed before the B-1A program was cancelled in 1977. To Lowry AFB as as GB-1A ground trainer then preserved at the Wings Over the Rockies Aviation and Space Museum at the former Lowry AFB, Denver, CO from 1989.

Operated by AFFTC. To Lowry TTC for ground instruction as a GB-1A. Still there today but now displayed as part of the Wings Over the Rockies Aviation and Space Museum, Denver Co.

This third (of four) B-1A prototypes was actually the second to fly. It eventually went to the Wings Over The Rockies Air & Space Museum near Denver, Colorado.
