Delivered to Pakistani International Airlines November 29, 1962 and leased to Air Malta as AP-AMJ April 1974 . PIA had answered the Maltese government call for a partner to set up the new Air Malta to operate their own flights. BEA had been charted to do the flying since 1973 and this 720 was one of two used to fly their own flights beginning April 1, 1974.
