Built in 1979. Captured from Argentina in the Falklands war in 1982 and shipped to the UK. Allocated RAF serial ZD486. Preserved at Middle Wallop by 1984. Still there in 1988. Scrapped due its poor condition. Nose section preserved.

As can be seen clearly, the best days of this Pucara are behind it. Captured during the Falklands War in 1982, it was brought to the UK, registered as ZD486, it is seen here at Middle Wallop in 1996. It was scrapped eventually.

Built in 1979 this Pucara was captured and transported back to the UK after the Falkland Islands conflict. It was to become ZD486 and taken to Boscombe Down where it was used for spares and eventually scrapped. Seen here at the RAF Finningley Battle of Britain Air show in 1982.
