One of the last two CV580's operating by KF. Early morning landing in Kelowna from Vancouver.

K25 slide scan. Built 1959 as N80G for US Steel. Reregistered N8BG 1972 and went through the hands of a number of corporate operators until sold 1984 as C-GKFG to Kelowna Fightcraft. Donated to South Alberta Institute of Technology in Calgary 1997. Registration used from that time on by CV-580 with the same msn 22.

Built in 1952 for Continental Air Lines then, after numerous ownership changes and conversion to CV580, it was imported for Kelowna Flightcraft as above in 1997. I spoke with its tech. support guy at KF Aerospace in October 2022 who said it is one of four still flying for Purolator Courier (as here) and there were no plans to retire it.

Ex N722G, N80G, N8BG. Stored in the ex Ptarmigan Airways livery less titles. Donated by Kelowna Flightcraft Air Charter to the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) circa February 1997. Now put out to grass and awaiting the scrapman.

Cancelled in 1997 and donated to the South Alberta Institute of Technology in Calgary. Registration currently used on one of Kelowna's Convair 580s, on lease to Purolator.
