Trans-Canada Airlines was an early adopter of the DC-8 Jet Trader, taking delivery of six during 1963 - 64. CF-TJP / C-FTJP was with the airline 1964 - 84, and flew freight more than another twenty years registered N4768G and N802CK. It was scrapped at Detroit - Willow Run airport circa 2009.

Rerpainted and reregistered since my previous photo in 1977. Delivered to Air Canada as CF-TJP in 1964. Reregistered as C-FTJP by 1978. Sold as N4768G in 1984 then to Connie Kalitta Services as N802CK in 1987. Renamed to American International Airways in 1991. Withdrawn from use at Detroit-Willow Run in 1999. Sold to MK Airlines in 2000 and used for parts there. Scrapped by 2006.

Delivered to Air Canada in October 1991. Damaged beyond repair in a landing accident at Halifax NS on 29 March 2015.

Delivered new 16th Oct 1991. Operating AC624 CYYZ-CYHZ during final approach the aircraft severed powerlines and then impacted a localizer antenna array.On landing part of the undercarriage was sheared off and both engines separated. There was extensive damage to both wing leading edges and horizontal stabilizers and lower fuselage. Written off 29th March 2015
