The then chairman of DLT had felt that a new image was needed so the new 748's arrived in a striking all red scheme. Business passengers however disagreed and the "red parrot bird" gave way to a sombre Lufthansa style livery after a very short time with only the first three aircraft being delivered in red. All were repainted within a year.

Delivered to DLT as D-AHSB in 1981. To British Airways as G-BOHZ in 1988 then to BAF Aircraft Leasing in 1992 and stored at Southend. To Independent Airways then to Executive Airways as ZS-NNW in 1994. Stored at Durban in 2001. Probably later scrapped.
