Delivered to Aer Lingus as EI-ASH in 1970. Leased to a number of operators. To National Airlines as CC-CSL in 1995 then to Avant Airlines in 1998 and LAN Chile in 2004. Withdrawn from use at Santiago de Chile in 2006 and scrapped.

Turning in to the gate, summer 1974 - a view from the Queen's Building viewing balcony. While a TWA 707 starts its takeoff roll on runway 28R, next in line are a British Airways 707, a Northeast Trident 1E and Air Jamaica DC-8-62 6Y-JII. EI-ASH had been leased to Transair Canada from 16 November 1973 to 15 May 1974 as CF-TAR. It was leased to the same carrier for the next two winter seasons also, as C-GTAR, hence the retention of these garish colours when it returned to Ireland for the summer months.
