Registered as G-ANCD in 1958. Delivered to Air Charter in 1959 who merged into British United Airways in 1960. To Lloyd International in 1969 and converted to a freighter then to African Cargo Airways as 5Y-AYR in 1975, Allcargo Airlines in 1978 and Gaylan Air Cargo in 1979. Scrapped at Bournemouth-Hurn in 1982.

Served Lloyd International from January 1969 until stored at Stansted in 1973. Later to 5Y-AYR.

Bristol's demonstrator Britannia 300 Series has just been painted in full Cubana colour scheme prior to a 27,000 mile sales tour around South America. The smallest runway used was at B.A. Aeroparque - 5100 ft. Cubana ordered several Britannias and operated them until 1990 - the longest service of any B175 operator. From Bristols 50 years ago.

Nobody seemed to want this Britannia after she was built at Belfast - not taken up by Capital, then BOAC, then Northeast. Leased to El Al as 4X-AGE 1958/9 then converted from Srs 305 to 307. To Air Charter 3.59, merged into BUA. Modified to freighter 2.66 and sold to Lloyd 1.69. Seen here after Lloyd's demise. Retired at Bournemouth in 10.82 in basic All Cargo Airlines biege colours and b/u there
