Preserved on the old Speke aerodrome apron

Freshly painted around the nose section with its original British Eagle name "New Frontier", for what I believe was film work. The Jetstream Club was renamed Speke Aerodrome Heritage Group in January 2010.

Acquired by Monarch Airlines in 1968. To African Safari as 5Y-AZP in 1976.

Registered as G-ANCF in 1958. Delivered to Transcontinental SA as LV-PPJ in 1959 and reregistered as LV-GJB in 1960. To British Eagle as G-ANCF and converted to a freighter in 1964. To Monarch Airlines in 1968 then to African Safari as 5Y-AZP in 1976 and Invicta International as G-ANCF in 1977. Withdrawn from use at Manston in 1980. Dismantled and moved to Kemble by 1997. Moved to Liverpool for preservation in 2007.

The control tower at Perth was a great vantage point for photography. The tower closed in 1986 but the building remained in use as the fire station for a further 20+ years. Now demolished.

One interesting Brit. F/F 19.11.58 and ntu by BOAC, Capital, Northeast. Went to Transcontinental in Argentina 12.59 and bought by British Eagle in 3.64, soon converted to 308F. To Monarch 12.68 and leased to IAS, African Safari and then Invicta; bought 1.77. Wfu soon after photo and became derelict but dismantled and to Kemble with Britannia Aircraft Preservation Trust. Now at Speke on loan to Jetstream Club, very slowly being rebuilt and restored to Eagle colours - should look truly magnificent when finished
