The sole example of the Vickers 207, designed against Specification M.1/30 for a carrier-capable torpedo bomber to replace the Blackburn Ripon. As such it was a fairly large biplane, powered by an 825-hp RR Buzzard engine. The photo is thought to have been taken before its first flight on 11 January 1933. Later it wore its assigned serial S1641 and Hendon show code 6. Crashed on 23 November 1933 when the starboard wings failed during trials with a full load. Photo from: Vickers
