Seen at Basel Mulhouse just after it was acquired by Zimex Aviation whose titles are in the process of being applied. This Hercules was delivered to Safair as ZS-JVM in November 1976, to Air Botswana as A2-ACA in October 1979. Was destroyed following a suspected surface to air missile attack while operating a Red Cross relief flight at Cuito, Angola 14 October 1987. Photographer unknown

The story of this Stratofreighters differs slightly from the others that Balair source for the Biafran airlift. As can be seen from the faded Joint Church Aid titles under the ICRC titles, she originally served with the churches' airlift before being made available for the ICRC. It is unclear whether she flew for them as she only carried those titles as short period during the winter of 1970. Photographer unknown
