Delivered to the US Navy as 136567. Sold to the California Department of Forestry as N411DF in 1973 and converted to a firebomber. Damaged in a wheels up landing at Paso Robles, CA in 2001. Preserved at the Estrella Warbirds Museum there in US Navy markings with fake serial 136404.

This aircraft was retired c.2000 and is now displayed in the Estrella Warbird Museum at Paso Robles Municipal Airport, CA., painted in US Navy colours depicting BuNo 136404, an aircraft that was destroyed on 3rd May 2007 when it collided with power lines whilst making a forced landing near Cherry Point Marine Corps Air Station, NC.
