This 742 was originally delivered to Singapore Airlines as 9V-SIB in August 1973 and after a long and well-travelled career is now preserved at the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum in McMinnville, Oregon.

Delivered to Singapore Airlines as 9V-SIB in 1973. To Flying Tiger Line as N748TA in 1979 then to Metro International in 1981. Reregistered as N748FT in 1982. To Pan Am as N729PA in 1983. Fitted with a side cargo door in 1987. To Evergreen International as N482EV in 1991. Preserved at McMinnville, OR from 2013.

Leased to Saudi Arabian between JUN-OCT 1993 and APR-JUN 1995. Withdrawn from use and stored at Portsmouth (KPSM) between December 2012 and June 2013. Preserved at McMinnville (Oregon, USA) at the Evergeen Aviation & Space Museum.

Displayed at the entrance of the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum, this 747 was first delivered to Singapore Airlines August 29, 1973. Later operated by Flying Tigers, Metro International and Pan Am, Evergreen International bought it 1990 after it had been converted to a freighter. Retired and stored at Portsmouth International Airport at Pease in New Hampshire during 201, the aircraft was moved to the Museum in 2013.

No colours (following an earlier lease to Saudia I believe) but with titles. As mentioned in a little more detail in another photo of mine, I flew on this aircraft (in passenger configuration) back in April 1992.

In passenger configuration, flying on behalf of LTU during the Summer of 1992. I flew on it on an LTU flight from Düsseldorf to Tenerife. I knew it had a First Class cabin and managed to get myself and family seats in it. Of course the cabin service was that of LTU economy but that was excellent anyway in those days.
