The USN ordered 262 N2T a/c in WW 2. This one was delivered on 15 June 1943 and was assigned to Naval Air Primary Training Bases at Livermore, CA. and Bunker Hill, IN. It was withdrawn from use in 1944. The a/c was acquired by the museum in 1982 in flying condition. It is currently displayed hanging and is in the WW 2 Gallery.

Of the Timm N2T-1 276 were built for the US Navy. Many were sold on the civil market after the War. This one is pictures at an early edition of the Antique Fly-in at Watsonville. Picture salvaged from a discolored copy slide. Date is unknown. Any help is appreciated!
