Delivered new 6th Oct 1964 and made its last commercial flight 16th March 1991. Donated to Museum of Flight Foundation March 1991 and currently on display in original livery at Boeing Field Museum of Flight.

1st 727

This venerable old 727 was photographed in temporary storage at the Museum of Flight - Restoration Center until a suitable space is available at BFI. Note the oval No.2 engine intake - subsequently changed to round for the -200 series aircraft.

This was the first Boeing 727 and went into service with United Airlines in 1964. It was retired by United in 1991 and donated to the Museum of Flight, which stored it at their restoration facility at Paine Field. Restored for one final flight, it was flown to Boeing Field on March 2, 2016, where it is on display at the Museum of Flight.
