One of thirty-seven 727s operated by American Transair, this one was bought from US Air in February 1993. Last revenue flight was May 8, 2002 when it was stored at Roswell, NM. Converted to a freighter, the aircraft has since flown with Astar Air Cargo and Rio Linhas Aereas as PR-IOC (since 2010 known as Sideral Air Cargo).

Delivered new to US Air in December 1982. Amercian Trans Air ATA became 2nd operator, in 1993. it was the very last ATA 727, in the fleet, wfu in May 2002. Converted to freighter and sold to Astair Cargo in 2004, for DHL.
