Argentina purchased 10 FW44 Stieglitz in 1936. FMA (Fábrica Militar de Aviones) went on to build 190 of the type under license between 1937 and 1942. PG-396 (ex E.E-119) was stored at Cordoba for some years before being relocated to the Museo Nacional de Aeronáutica at Morón (SADM / MOR) where it has been on display since 2006 as "E.E-122".
