Another view of the magnificent VH-XBA, about to make its second test flight

Making a test flight a few days before beginning its delivery flight to the Qantas Founders Memorial at Longreach in Australia for preservation. Originally VH-EBA then CF-PWV, N138TA, N220AM, N138MJ, HZ-123 and registered VH-XBA in July 2006

Stopping for fuel at Dublin on the first leg of the long flight home to Australia, following restoration at Southend. This was the first of seven 707-138s ordered by Qantas and it was delivered to the airline in 1959 as VH-EBA.
