I think this was the most beautiful DC-3 that I ever saw. Unfortunately I don't have it in color. It is ex Wright Cyclone-powered American Airlines DC-3-178 NC16013, later converted to Pratt & Whitney-powered DC-3A and operated by the Mexican Federal Commission for Electricity. The aircraft's name simply means "The Torch".

I think this was the most beautiful DC-3 that I ever saw. Unfortunately I don't have it in color. Obviously, this G-II from 1975 spent its whole life being registered in Mexico with various owners. In 2018, it came to an US bizjet seller as N735TG, only to be sold again to an new Mexican owner a few months later. The aircraft is seen here as part of the fleet of the Comision Federal de Electricidad, based at Mexico City.
