Successor to the much used SA-315B Cheetah that provides a lifeline to the Indian Army at Siachen, the Cheetal is powered by the Turbomeca TM 333-2M2 with FADEC that replaces the Artouste IIIB turboshaft engine. It is designed for better climb performance, higher payload and increased range.
