Delivered to KLM christened "James Cook" on June 22, 1970, this DC-8 was leased to Surinam Airways 1974 - 83. Named "25 November" by the airline to commemorate the day Suriname became independent in 1975.

New with KLM in 6.70 and leased to Surinam in 11.75, not being returned till 10.83, so actually spent more time in the eye-catching yellow colours than KLM's scheme. To African Safari 12.83 and Airborne Express 1.94 (N824AX); stored at Wilmington, OH from 2002 and later broken up
