Had been recently delivered to the USAF as 84-0462. To the United States Forestry Service as N179Z in 1991. Reregistered as N179ZZ then to Sierra West Airlines in 2020 then to Mont Gabaon Airlines as 9S-POA in 2024.

Operated by 10 Military Airlift Squadron, but just wearing the Military Airlift Command badge on the mid fuselage.

First delivered to the US Air Force as 84-0464 on May 5, 1985, this C-23 Sherpa was transferred to the US Army in November 1990. Re-designated a JC-23A for testing at the Communications-Electronics Research Development and Engineering Center (CERDEC) based at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey. Stored in March 2014, the aircraft was bought at auction by ACC Integrated Holdings (parent company of Air Cargo Carriers) in December 2014 and registered N393AC.

Air Fete 1985. Delivered on 20 Apr 1985. Operated by 10th MAS - 608th MAG based in West Germany. To the US Forestry Service as N179Z on 26 Mar 1991. To N179ZZ by 05 Jun 2020. Still current in 2024.

The USAFE accepted by Nov'85 18x C-23A Sherpas, all assigned to the 10th Military Airlift Squadron, Zweibrücken (Germany), known by call sign "Pockey". After the end of the Cold War, US EUCOM reduced its footprint and the 10th MAS was deactivated. 8x C-23As were handed over to the US Army. This 84-0465 was not handed over to the US Army but became a civil plane as N172Z with the US Forest Service in Mar'91. Later reregistered to N188LM with US Bureau of Land Management in Nov'91, to Marian Aviation Corporation in Dec'02, as N330FA with Freedom Air in Ap'04 and then withdrawn at Guam in 2013.

Scrapped by Red Bank Recycling & Auto Wreckers company (NJ) by late 2021.

Operated by the 10th Military Airlift Squadron, 608th Military Airlift Group.

Transferred to US Army in 1990. Crashed after losing control during a test flight Jul 16, 1992, Colquitt, LA. Unfortunately the 3 crew members lost their lives.

This Sherpa was delivered to the 10th Military Airlift Squadron, 322nd Military Airlift Group at Zweibrücken (Germany) on 30 January 1985. It served the MAS up to mid 1989. The aircraft was sold as to N174Z with the US Forest Service on 9 November 1991.
