Sea Hawk on display at Naval Air Museum Goa. This is one of 74 Sea Hawks that was operated by INAS 300, IN's first carrier-based fighter squadron commissioned on 7 July 1960 by Smt. Vijaya Laxmi Pandit. Embarked for the first time on INS Vikrant in 1961, Sea Hawks stayed on till 1978. During the 1971 Indo-Pak War, "White Tigers" wreaked havoc on Pakistani installations at Cox's Bazaar and Chittagong.

Commemorating German Sea Hawk Mk100 and Mk101 service from 1958 to 1965 at the entrance of both the Aeronauticum museum and the air base at Nordholz. The poor old jet and its pedestal could use some care.

Now preserved as a gate guard at the very interesting Aeronauticum museum. Obviously the museum has many interesting aeroplanes to be seen but the main museum building also has many fascinating photos and exhibits chronicling the Nordholz base through the ages, especially when it was a major Zeppellin base. Well worth a visit!

Previously preserved at Eggebek, this Sea Hawk was moved to the museum at Nordholz.
